Brief about us

PT Masmindo Dwi Area (MDA) is a gold mining company operating under the seventh generation Work Contract since January 19, 1998 and underwent changes on March 14, 2018. Masmindo is a subsidiary of PT Indika Energy Tbk., one of Indonesia's leading energy companies.

Located in Latimojong District, Luwu Regency, South Sulawesi, Masmindo manages a contract area of 14,390 hectares with mining areas in other use areas (APL), not forest areas. The company is currently in the construction phase.

Masmindo uses open-pit mining methods to extract gold from the Awak Mas and Salubulo pits, which will produce gold bullion to be refined into pure gold. As a responsible mining company, Masmindo implements Good Mining Practice in accordance with government regulations.

In addition, Masmindo carries out corporate social responsibility (CSR) focused on sustainable benefits for surrounding communities and stakeholders.
